During the typical lifecycle of a project, new equipment is specified, designed, manufactured, installed and commissionined or perhaps just upgraded. There is normally a vast amount of time, money and effort spent upfront ensuring that the engineering and design is correct, that costs are maintained on budget and the delivery is per the schedule. However, we have found that more often than not, the personnel (operators) that will actually be using the ugraded software or modified hardware once it has been installed and commissioned offshore are not always offered training on how the new equipment functions or if there are any special requirements within the specifications that they need to be aware of.
From our experience we have noticed that Training is too often overlooked, and more often than not it is due to schedule constraints and the lack of continuity between personnel from FEED through to installation and commissioning. At Dragon Deepwater we pride ourselves not only on having the in-depth experience of our personnel but we also couple that with the consistency of having the same Team design, install and commission the equipment. This allows us to provide full continuity across all phases of the project, from start to finish.
Our deepwater experts can provide training programmes for your operators and staff. The classes can be  tailored to suit the needs of your personnel, whether they are experts in their field of operation or are simply new beginners. Our engineers and technicians can run the classes dependent on the desired audience and the equipment to be covered.
